Sarah Renshaw
Background
- Biography
Researcher, Special Individualized Program, Concordia University, Chercheure
As a doctorate student of the demanding and interdisciplinary Special Individualized Program at Concordia University, Renshaw will bring her focus on cognition, writing practices and memory to this workshop. Spanning communications, anthropology and art, she will also contribute an ambitious interdisciplinarity to the event. Her particular focus on the relations between writing practices and constructions of consciousness and memory overlaps with the interests of many other workshop participants and will enrich the overall discussion. Her proposed art installation, a conceptual and concrete poem in a local waterway promises to bodily move the workshop and its participants out of its institutional shelter and into direct contact with urban waters.
