Biography

Through her role in this workshop, Kenway will gain access to creative and interdisciplinary thinking with water that will usefully dovetail with her own Master’s research into water issues, environment and sustainability. Kenway is well qualified to assist with the coordination of the workshop given the depth of her experience with organizing and facilitating various arts, music and interdisciplinary events – including her own recent projects, ///Friction Phase I (2009) and the upcoming ///Friction Phase II (2010) and Poisson Passion. In her role, Kenway will: assist workshop participants with transportation, accommodations and general orientation on campus and in the city; liaise between the Organizational Committee and service providers; and help to organize audio-visual and other equipment or materials required for this workshop.

Grâce au rôle qu’elle jouera lors de l’atelier, Kenway prévoit profiter de la réflexion créative et interdisciplinaire autour de l’eau, réflexion qui rejoindra son propre projet de Maîtrise portant sur la question de l’eau, sur l’environnement et la durabilité. Kenway est bien en mesure d’assister à la coordination de l’atelier vu la profondeur de son expérience d’organisatrice et de facilitatrice d’événements artistiques, musicaux et interdisciplinaires – y compris ses propres projets, ///Friction Phase I (2009), ainsi que les imminents ///Friction Phase II (2010) et Poisson Passion. Kenway se chargera du transport, de l’hébergement et de l’orientation générale sur le campus et en ville des participants de l’atelier. Elle servira aussi de liaison entre le comité d’organisation et les fournisseurs de service, et, finalement, aidera dans l’organisation de l’équipement audiovisuel et des autres matériaux nécessaires au bon fonctionnement de cet atelier.
